I wanted to let you know how well our organic beans did this fall. On 10 acres we harvested 2,892 bushels (289 bu/acre). This far surpassed my expectations. My previous best was around 220 bu/acre. In 2007 I planted my first organic crop and did only 110 bu/acre. The beans were beautiful and we had no rejections due to quality; many were shipped as far away as Canada.
